Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kitten Kaito (ranked 24817 p4p, 5595 weight class) and Andrew Tyson (ranked 422 p4p, 394 weight class). Tyson has chosen TKO as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Andrew Tyson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kitten Kaito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaito.
Kaito closes the distance and clinches up with Tyson, looking for a takedown. Kaito pushes Tyson against the cage but Tyson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kaito throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tyson on the side of the head.
A combination from Kaito does no damage.
Kaito is breathing heavily.
Tyson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaito swivels and escapes.
Tyson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kaito.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kitten Kaito. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyson throws a sloppy head kick and Kaito moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tyson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tyson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tyson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaito swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tyson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kaito preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Kaito keeps moving.

Kaito is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tyson defends well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Tyson clinches.
Tyson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kaito walks away with a smile on his face. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kaito tries to clinch up but Tyson circles away and keeps his distance.
Kaito shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyson as he avoids it easily.

Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

It looked like Kaito was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Tyson shoots in for a double leg but Kaito sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kaito working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tyson wants to get back to striking at distance but Kaito won't allow it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tyson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kaito darts in looking for a takedown but Tyson gets double underhooks and turns Kaito into the cage.
Kaito really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kaito rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kaito ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kaito no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
