Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Walken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Cunningham!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walken as he jumps to the side.
Walken ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cunningham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Walken to counter with a crisp jab.
Walken uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cunningham.
It looked like Walken was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cunningham.
Walken's corner calls for a 1-2. Walken obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Walken throws out a loose jab but Cunningham uses good head movement to avoid it.
Cunningham misses the shot to the body.
Walken definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walken scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cunningham doesn't seem bothered though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cunningham throws a hook but Walken avoids it easily.
A swing and a miss from Cunningham.
Cunningham doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Walken counters with a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walken throws a low kick, looking for Cunningham's leg but Cunningham calmly moves out of range.
Cunningham misses with an uppercut
letting Walken counter with a right hand.
Cunningham dives in and grabs Walken's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walken pushes down on Cunningham's head and hops out.
Alex Walken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Cunningham.
Walken digs a good body shot into Cunningham's ribs.
Cunningham throws a sloppy body shot
letting Walken counter with a right hand.
Walken with a jab.
Dennis Cunningham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cunningham gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Walken counters with a stiff right hand.
Walken scores with a shot to the body.
Cunningham throws a jab when Walken was well out of range.
It looked like Walken was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cunningham.
Cunningham misses with an uppercut
and Walken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Walken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cunningham with a poor takedown
and Walken counters with a left to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walken paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Walken moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cunningham is rocked!
Walken lands a hook that stumbles Cunningham back into the cage. Walken follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Cunningham to the canvas! Walken pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Cunningham has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
