The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turles shoots in and drives through. Sukarman sprawls well.
Sukarman lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Turles has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sukarman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sukarman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Turles's guard.

Turles working for a triangle but Sukarman defends it easily.
Turles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Turles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sukarman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Turles is tightening it up a little... Sukarman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sukarman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sukarman taps out! Nice BJJ there by Turles!
