Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Balagot Liu (ranked 181 p4p, 228 weight class) and James King (ranked 11 p4p, 27 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Balagot Liu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a push kick but Liu slaps the foot to one side.
King throws a nice outside leg kick.
Liu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from King.
Jab, jab by King - just one landing.
Liu misses the shot to the body.
King cracks Liu with a good jab.
King gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Liu gets through King's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by King.
Liu has a couple of punches blocked by King.
King is leaning against Liu and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
King lands a knee to the head.
King connects with a nasty looking knee right to Liu's face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Liu has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Liu swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Liu is trying to push King away but King has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Liu misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Liu.
Liu breaks from the clinch.
James King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King blocks a jab.
King scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A telegraphed right hand from Liu misses the target.
Liu tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch.
King scores with a hook to the body.
King landing knees to the head.
King misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Liu.
Liu has a couple of punches blocked by King.
King blocks a punch to the side of the head.
King tries a knee to the head but Liu blocks it.
Liu scores with a shoulder strike.
A nice left hand lands by King.
King lands on the inside with an uppercut.
King lands a knee to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liu misses with a short punch on the inside.
Liu can't find room to land a body shot as King controls the action.
King blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
King is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Liu is defending well for now.
Liu takes a knee to the side of the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Liu breaks the clinch.
King tries a head kick but it misses.
King takes a swing at Liu's ribcage but misses.
Liu scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
King throws a head kick but Liu moves out of range.
King uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Liu.
King swings away with a body shot that misses
and Liu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
King connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Liu looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
King misses with a lunging right hand
and Liu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
King throws a wild hook but Liu just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! King gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Liu raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balagot Liu!
A very excited looking Balagot Liu made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
