Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Muir (ranked 3941 p4p, 3943 weight class) and Darragh Prendergast (ranked 131 p4p, 132 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Douglas Muir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darragh Prendergast! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prendergast as he jumps to the side. Prendergast looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Muir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Prendergast napping and manages to drive through into side control! Prendergast bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Prendergast throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Muir was covering up waiting for the punch and Prendergast finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prendergast lands a couple of elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Muir trying to keep a closed guard but Prendergast is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prendergast won't allow Muir to get back to his feet. Prendergast content to stall in guard here. Prendergast lands a couple of elbows. Prendergast wants to control from the top but Muir keeps moving. Prendergast is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Muir is pulling down on Prendergast's head. It's preventing any offense from Prendergast, at least for the moment. Prendergast stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muir swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Muir wants to sweep but no luck. Muir avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Prendergast with a flurry of punches that miss.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Prendergast tries to sprawl but Muir drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prendergast is trying to control but can't.
Prendergast is looking to improve his position.
Prendergast wants to control but Muir is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Darragh Prendergast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Prendergast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
