The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yamamoto changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Yamamoto shoots in looking for a takedown but Delgado manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yamamoto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little feinted left hand from Delgado on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Delgado misses with a two punch combination.
Yamamoto unleashes a big counter combination but Delgado bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Yamamoto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Delgado.
Yamamoto fails with a takedown attempt.
Delgado tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Yamamoto manages to circle out of the way.

Delgado feints and as Yamamoto raises his hands in defense, Delgado changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delgado got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yamamoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Delgado has managed to get both his arms back between Yamamoto's legs - danger averted.

Yamamoto is trying to control the position but Delgado postures up.

Delgado decides to stand and escape the position.
Horrible takedown attempt by Delgado or perhaps it was just good defense by Yamamoto, which made it look bad.
Delgado dives in for a single leg takedown but Yamamoto sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
