Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Marley (ranked 1564 p4p, 2535 weight class) and Steel Penn Jr (ranked 234 p4p, 350 weight class). Marley comes into the arena with EMOTIONALLY SCARRED blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ezekiel Marley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steel Penn Jr!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn Jr misses with a two punch combination.
Marley bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Penn Jr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Marley just misses with a punch to the body.
Penn Jr tried to score with a low kick but Marley checks it.
Penn Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marley. Marley circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Ezekiel Marley has been cut.
Marley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe in the buildup to the fight.
Penn Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Marley moves out of range easily.
Marley was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Penn Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A punch lands to the side of Penn Jr 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Penn Jr is rocked!
Marley lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Penn Jr up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Marley from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Penn Jr's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ezekiel Marley!
A very excited looking Ezekiel Marley made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
