Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24312 p4p, 24334 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 17 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon leaves Buut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. Buut gets caught flat footed, as Mibangon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut looking for a sweep. Not yet Buut, not yet. Mibangon controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Buut wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mibangon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mibangon was covering up waiting for the punch and Buut finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut content to stall in guard here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mibangon holds on and takes a little breather.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mibangon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buut controls the pace. Mibangon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Buut is stalling in the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. That's time! Mibangon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mibangon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Buut tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mibangon is in Buut's guard. Buut is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Mibangon presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mibangon pulls him back up using the underhooks. Buut prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon is working for takedown but Buut is calmly controlling the position for now. Buut has hold of one of Mibangon's legs. Mibangon is fighting the takedown attempt but Buut gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Buut trying to control but Mibangon is working from the bottom. Buut is fighting to break Mibangon's control of his arms but Mibangon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Buut has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buut controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mibangon is on top in guard.
Buut pulls Mibangon in close to his closed guard and prevents Mibangon from doing any damage or advancing position. Buut is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Buut has control of Mibangon's left arm, preventing Mibangon from doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buut tries for a takedown but Mibangon circles away easily and Mibangon counters with a nice body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buut looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mibangon is fending him off so far but Buut persists. Nope, Mibangon circles away and we're back to standing. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Buut dives in and grabs Mibangon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mibangon pushes down on Buut's head and hops out. Mibangon is looking to counter with a body kick. Mibangon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Buut tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mibangon is in Buut's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Mibangon shoots in looking for a takedown but Buut manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mibangon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buut is trying to counter with his kicks. Buut throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mibangon was covering up waiting for the punch and Buut finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buut is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut being controlled here momentarily. Buut is stalling in the full guard. The adventures of Buut the control monster continue. Boring.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mibangon is looking to reverse the position. Walay Buut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Buut in side control, just content to control the action for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
