Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23891 p4p, 24241 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Libat wants it to stay on the feet. Libat jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Sapi shoots and misses and Libat counters with a body kick. Sapi darts in looking for a takedown but Libat gets double underhooks and turns Sapi into the cage. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wala Sapi. Libat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sapi pinned against the cage. Sapi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi tries to sprawl but Libat drives through with a takedown into half guard. Libat not doing much here.
Sapi is looking for a sweep. Libat is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Libat in particular looking to stall. Libat thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sapi's head. Libat content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi is controlling Libat's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Sapi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Libat looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sapi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Libat's shoulder. That is not cool. Libat can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi taking a breather here. Sapi working away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi controls the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Higanti Libat will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Libat throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Libat gets the takedown into side control. Sapi is trying to get back to half guard. Libat in the domination position with Sapi hanging on. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi struggling a bit here. Sapi gets back to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Libat scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sapi is doing well to control the position and prevent Libat from advancing to side control. Sapi trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Libat in particular looking to stall. Libat's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Sapi is trying is best to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sapi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Libat is working away from the top position though.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice sprawl there from Sapi as Libat shoots in. Sapi steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Libat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sapi's waist but Sapi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Libat off to one side. Sapi feints the counter takedown. Libat slaps away a takedown attempt from Sapi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Libat shoots in and bounces Sapi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sapi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Libat controls the pace. Further stalling from Libat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Libat trying to control but Sapi is working from the bottom. Sapi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Libat stopping the sweep attempt from Sapi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck for Libat with that takedown attempt. Sapi unleashes a big counter combination but Libat bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Sapi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sapi wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Libat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sapi trying to hold on to Libat's head to control him but Libat postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sapi controlling the position. Wala Sapi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Higanti Libat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Libat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
