Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Axton Burgess (ranked 2324 p4p, 2611 weight class) and Marc Tong Panong (ranked 297 p4p, 325 weight class). Tong Panong has chosen Tetris Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tong Panong misses with a combination
letting Burgess counter with a right hand.
We've been told by Burgess's head coaches at FIGHT FOUNDERS (CA) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tong Panong misses with a hook.
It looked like Burgess was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tong Panong.
Tong Panong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tong Panong throws a left and a right that both miss
and Burgess cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Burgess sizes up Tong Panong with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Tong Panong misses with a lunging right hand
and Burgess scores with a counter punch that sends Tong Panong to the canvas! Burgess smells blood - he's punishing Tong Panong with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Tong Panong has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
