The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Da Silva but Da Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A counter left hand to the body from Da Silva misses its target.
Quill looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Da Silva stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Da Silva has Quill pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Da Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Quill tumbling to the mat - Da Silva dives into Quill's guard.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Quill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
