Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5883 p4p, 23373 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 47 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 54 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter B gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter A looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Fighter B has a takedown stuffed. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B stuffs the takedown. Fighter B tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fighter A paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fighter B shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter A defends it nicely. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fighter A sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fighter B somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A misses with a takedown attempt - Fighter B sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter B changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to avoid it but Fighter B manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter A to the ground. Fighter A escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter B. Fighter B throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Fighter B creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fighter A sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Fighter A manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fighter B's best efforts. Fighter B lands with a punch from half guard. Fighter A trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is looking for a sweep. Fighter B is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fighter B missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fighter B not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighter A avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fighter B.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter A shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter B tries to sprawl out of it but Fighter A keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter B manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Fighter B fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A avoids it really well and circles away. Fighter A stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter A wants it to stay on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B tries for a takedown but Fighter A circles away easily and Fighter A decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fighter B's guard. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B working a defensive guard here.
Fighter A won't allow Fighter B to sweep him here. Fighter B trying to control the position.
Fighter B is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter A is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter B but Fighter B pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fighter B follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B goes for a double leg but Fighter A avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter A continues to drive forward. Fighter B decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A missing with punches from the bottom.
Fighter A is trying to control but can't.
Fighter A tries to roll over but Fighter B keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter B's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter B's back! Fighter A avoiding Fighter B 's attempts to control his hands. Fighter A is hanging on to Fighter B's back as he tries to escape.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. Fighter B stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter A slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter B, before circling back to the center of the mat. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B fails with a takedown attempt. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter A feints and as Fighter B raises his hands in defense, Fighter A changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is trying to keep Fighter A in close.
Fighter B has Fighter A pulled in close to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fighter B working a defensive guard but Fighter A manages to pass into side control anyway.
Fighter B keeps Fighter A under control for a moment. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B is looking for a sweep. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter A remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. You can see the frustration on Fighter B's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter A thinks about countering with a body kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B misses with an attempted mid kick.
It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
