Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juninho Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen killing in the name as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson clinches up against the cage.
Silva tries a knee to the head but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Silva holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.
Jackson tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Jackson goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Juninho Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.

and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now.
Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackson passes Silva's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson is working to tighten is grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jackson is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Jackson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
