The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsen lands with a hook. Buckley tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Buckley is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Axelsen tries to keep at a distance but Buckley has taken the fight into the clinch.

Axelsen looks to land a combination. Buckley sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Axelsen moves into range and connects with a jab.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buckley.
A little feinted left hand from Axelsen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Buckley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Axelsen sprawls well. Axelsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Buckley gets slowly back to his feet.
Loke Axelsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Buckley.
Axelsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Axelsen wants it to stay on the feet.
Buckley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Axelsen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Buckley on the side of the head.

Axelsen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Axelsen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Nice uppercut lands for Axelsen. That snapped Buckley's head back.

Buckley is rocked!
Axelsen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Axelsen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Buckley momentarily.

Axelsen drops Buckley with a huge uppercut! Buckley drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Axelsen is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
