Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alistair Fallas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Patterson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Patterson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fallas.
Fallas walks into a jab.
Patterson keeps Fallas at a distance using the push kick.
Fallas has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fallas there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fallas is rocked!
Patterson looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Patterson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Fallas's temple! It sends Fallas violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Patterson celebrates and the doctors try to help Fallas!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Derek Patterson!
