This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 9 losses; Trevor Barnes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 16 losses; Bea Mason!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Barnes clinches up against the cage.
Mason is trying to drag Barnes to the mat but Barnes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mason is pressed up against the cage. Barnes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mason down to the mat. Mason avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mason has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mason dives in for a single leg takedown but Barnes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Barnes's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
