The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Lake gets caught flat footed, as Chai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chai controls the position. Lake wants to control his opponent's hands but Chai gets his hands free. Lake is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
