Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valen Dreth (ranked 38 p4p, 339 weight class) and Brayden Point (ranked 5 p4p, 36 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Point's choice of entrance music: Roots Reggae Music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dreth lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Point has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Point and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dreth closes the distance and clinches up with Point, looking for a takedown. Dreth pushes Point against the cage but Point circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Valen Dreth will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Point has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dreth is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Point.
