Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Patryk (ranked 3649 p4p, 3624 weight class) and Kipley Pike (ranked 397 p4p, 395 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kipley Pike!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patryk drives through and clinches with Pike against the cage.

Patryk stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Pike looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Patryk is fending him off so far but Pike persists. Nope, Patryk circles away and we're back to standing.

Patryk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pike sprawls well initially but Patryk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lukasz Patryk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Patryk uses his free foot to push down on Pike's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pike.

Patryk goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pike turns into him and now he's in Patryk's guard.
