Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pega Pega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhey Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pega's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EChRejRLqFU. Silva has chosen Pain - Same old Song as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rhey Silva enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pega using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Pega is just out of range.
Silva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Pega darts in trying to clinch
and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Pega will be more careful next time no doubt.
Silva scores with a head kick.
Pega changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pega decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.
Silva tries to clinch
and Pega decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Silva wants to stand up but Pega is controlling him.
Pega drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Pega off! Pega jumps back into Silva's guard.
Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Pega advances position into side control!
Pega thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Silva is pushing Pega's head away, looking to escape. Pega manages to hold on to the position though.
Pega is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well.
Silva bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Pega is breathing heavily.

Pega looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pega is pressing down on Silva's thigh, looking to free his foot. Silva is holding on for now.
Pega prevents Silva from standing back up.
Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Pega.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pega throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Silva is trying to stand back up but Pega is controlling him

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pega scores with a takedown into Silva's guard.
Pega thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Pega stops Silva from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pega accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pega trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pega pushing down on Silva's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Silva is trying to stand up here but Pega is controlling him well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pega darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pega is looking for a kimura here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pega throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pega tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pega decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pega is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.
Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Pega.
Silva is trying to stand up here but Pega is controlling him well.
Pega is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Pega eventually gives up the hold.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pega is working for an americana but Silva has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Pega was thinking about the submission.

Pega Pega overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Pega drops back, looking for a kneebar! Silva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Silva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Silva!
Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Pega shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pega tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
Pega throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Pega is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pega is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Pega from controlling successfully.

Pega stands up from Silva's guard - Pega perhaps looking for a knockout.
Silva tries to clinch there but Pega circles away.
Some wild striking there from Silva.
Pega fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pega bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pega working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Pega wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working.

Silva wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pega has hold of Silva's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Silva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pega cranks the arm and Silva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Silva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
