Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Chaney (ranked 2825 p4p, 3124 weight class) and Joe Kamaka (ranked 347 p4p, 374 weight class). Kamaka has chosen Carcass - Heartwork as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Viktor Chaney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viktor Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Kamaka! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamaka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chaney swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chaney attempts a counter takedown but Kamaka avoids it well and moves away. Kamaka lands with a straight right. Chaney didn't see that one coming. Chaney ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Chaney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kamaka steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Chaney. Chaney throws a sloppy head kick and Kamaka moves out of range easily. Kamaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kamaka rushes Chaney and presses him up against the cage. Chaney is looking to control Kamaka's arms but Kamaka gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chaney has his back to the cage. Chaney wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kamaka has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamaka lands a nice shot to the body. Kamaka gets underhooks to prevent Chaney's takedown attempt.
Kamaka scores with a shoulder strike. Kamaka lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Chaney. Kamaka lands a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Chaney is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kamaka pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viktor Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kamaka scores with a shoulder strike. Chaney drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kamaka gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A frustrated look appears on Chaney's face as he tries to break the clinch. A shot in the inside from Kamaka. Kamaka lands a body shot in the clinch.
Kamaka lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chaney backwards. Kamaka scores with a shot to the side of Chaney's head. Chaney tries to pull guard but Kamaka holds him up against the cage and eventually Chaney drops back down to his feet.
Chaney is breathing heavily. Kamaka lands a hook that snaps the head of Chaney backwards. Kamaka throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chaneys head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kamaka. Chaney is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kamaka to keep the fight standing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaney is looking to control Kamaka's arms but Kamaka gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chaney has his back to the cage. Chaney fails to pull guard.
Chaney's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kamaka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kamaka stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Chaney definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kamaka lands a shot to the body. Kamaka works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Kamaka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kamaka clinches with his opponent.

Still in the clinch, Kamaka scores with a nice short uppercut. Kamaka lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kamaka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Chaney or not. Kamaka lands with a right to the head. A nice left hand lands by Kamaka.
Chaney is rocked! Kamaka lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Oh Chaney is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right hook to the body lands for Kamaka.

Kamaka is working some dirty boxing. Kamaka pushes off with a quick right hook! Chaney goes down! Chaney tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kamaka moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Kamaka! After the big win, Joe Kamaka made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors White Gorilla and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
