Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mik Mc Scrapper (ranked 4040 p4p, 3476 weight class) and Sage Kopel (ranked 0 p4p, 436 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Scrapper tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kopel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mc Scrapper tries to kick Kopel off in order to stand up. Kopel Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Kopel happy to just control the position for now.
Mc Scrapper is trying to buck Kopel off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mc Scrapper wants to get back to his feet but Kopel is dominant here and he's now got Mc Scrapper's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kopel is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mc Scrapper is defending well though. Kopel let's go of the attempt for now.
Kopel misses with a punch to the head.

Kopel slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Kopel somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Mc Scrapper is trying to get back to his feet but Kopel has full control of the position and if anything, Mc Scrapper has just worked his way into a worse spot.
What can Mc Scrapper do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Kopel has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Mc Scrapper is in real trouble here. Kopel gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Mc Scrapper is tapping out! Kopel wins by rear naked choke!
