Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crush Bandicoot (ranked 1039 p4p, 214 weight class) and Gemechu McKraken (ranked 105 p4p, 27 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crush Bandicoot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gemechu McKraken! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bandicoot looks to land a left hand but McKraken moved out of range nicely. A swing and a miss from Bandicoot. McKraken defending well as Bandicoot loads up on a big left hand. Bandicoot takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McKraken lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bandicoot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKraken manages to avoid it. McKraken gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandicoot wants to control but McKraken is keeping busy and won't allow it. McKraken is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bandicoot is refusing to be controlled, as McKraken sits in half guard. Bandicoot is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, McKraken seems content to control. McKraken is pressing down on Bandicoot's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bandicoot is holding on for now. Bandicoot is looking to control McKraken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bandicoot avoid being mounted? McKraken trying to mount his opponent but Bandicoot defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bandicoot has his hands clasped together around McKraken's back. He's all about the action. Bandicoot won't allow McKraken to pass to mount. McKraken is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bandicoot wants to improve his position but McKraken is controlling well.
McKraken is working for a kimura but Bandicoot is defending it quite comfortably.
McKraken wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bandicoot keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McKraken pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKraken is trying to control the action in half guard but Bandicoot is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bandicoot tries to roll over but McKraken keeps him under control. Bandicoot is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McKraken pulls his head out easily. Bandicoot trying to control but McKraken postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bandicoot fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McKraken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bandicoot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bandicoot swinging wildly here.
McKraken drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bandicoot defends it well. Bandicoot with a jab. McKraken lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bandicoot looks to score with a jab to the body but McKraken is just out of range. Bandicoot scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bandicoot fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McKraken drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bandicoot defends it well. Bandicoot misses the shot to the body. McKraken is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. McKraken lands a jab to the nose. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gemechu McKraken dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. McKraken connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bandicoot's hands. McKraken stuns Bandicoot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bandicoot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKraken manages to avoid it. McKraken looks to score with a jab to the body but Bandicoot is just out of range. Bandicoot looks to land a left hand but McKraken moved out of range nicely. Bandicoot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKraken manages to avoid it. Bandicoot misses with a straight left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandicoot on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. McKraken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bandicoot did well to prevent McKraken getting side control. McKraken landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKraken seems to be working for a kimura but Bandicoot defends the submission attempt. McKraken is looking for a kimura but Bandicoot is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McKraken to get the leverage. Bandicoot tries to roll over but McKraken keeps him under control. McKraken is thwarting Bandicoot's attempts to control the position. McKraken is nestled in close to Bandicoot, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bandicoot is staying active underneath McKraken, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McKraken uses his free foot to push down on Bandicoot's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bandicoot. McKraken landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot regains half guard. McKraken works his way into side control. McKraken has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McKraken is chipping away with strikes.
Bandicoot sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. McKraken is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gemechu McKraken has got the better of the ground game so far. McKraken is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bandicoot sees it coming and defends easily. Bandicoot wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bandicoot wants to control but McKraken is keeping busy.
McKraken in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bandicoot tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McKraken!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gemechu McKraken! Our winner, Gemechu McKraken, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
