The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Calbot throws a leg kick but Hughes checks it.
Hughes closes the distance but Calbot moves to the side

and Calbot decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hughes's guard.
Hughes is pulling down on Calbot's head to control his posture.

Calbot decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Calbot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Calbot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hughes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
