Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ihme Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sage Kopel!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kopel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mies as he avoids it easily.
Kopel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mies's waist but Mies gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kopel off to one side.
Kopel with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mies counters with a nice uppercut.
Ihme Mies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sage Kopel.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Mies knocks Kopel out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ihme Mies!
