and Sanli makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Sanli dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Machado. That did some damage!

Machado bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Machado tries for a kimura but Sanli is defending well.
Sanli knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Machado on the ground.
Machado is staying tight to Sanli's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Machado is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanli is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Machado working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Machado swings around for an armbar but Sanli sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Machado's guard.

Machado is trying to control. Sanli wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
