Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donny Knightley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Trejo!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo throws a combination. Knightley tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Donny Knightley has been cut.
Trejo throws a shot from downtown. Knightley moves away and avoids it.
And Knightley counters with a quick kick to the body but Trejo blocks it.
Trejo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Knightley's head coaches at The Quarry that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Trejo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Trejo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Trejo throws a big shot that misses.
Knightley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Trejo blocks the body kick.
Trejo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knightley.
Trejo takes a swing at Knightley's ribcage but misses.
Trejo swings for the body but Knightley moves out of range.
Trejo throws a sloppy head kick
and Knightley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Knightley slips under a jab.
Trejo connects with an inside leg kick.
Knightley tries to bum rush Trejo with a series of wild strikes but Trejo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Knightley is looking to land body kicks.
Trejo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Knightley counters with a left to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trejo throws a one two combo.
Trejo throws a head kick that misses.
Knightley takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Knightley is rocked!
Trejo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Knightley.
Trejo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A head kick by Trejo misses
and Knightley counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Trejo looks winded!
Knightley scores with the left hand. Trejo knows he should have avoided that one.
Knightley closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Trejo! Knightley dives in looking to finish! Trejo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Donny Knightley!
During a confident post fight interview, Donny Knightley thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
