Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Giant Grizzly (ranked 3787 p4p, 22841 weight class) and Elvis Milissis (ranked 320 p4p, 383 weight class). Elvis Milissis acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grizzly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Grizzly doesn't manage to clinch there - Milissis circles away.

Grizzly decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Milissis is trying to stand back up but Grizzly is controlling him
Grizzly trying to control from half guard but Milissis is working away.
Grizzly not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Milissis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Grizzly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Grizzly is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Grizzly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Milissis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grizzly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grizzly wants to control but Milissis is keeping him busy.

Grizzly is looking for a kimura but Milissis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grizzly to get the leverage.
Milissis is trying to stand.

Milissis manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Grizzly keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Milissis breaks the clinch.

Grizzly pushes Milissis up against the cage in a clinch.

Grizzly is trying to trip Milissis. He has hold of a leg but Milissis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Grizzly persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Milissis kicks Grizzly off and gets to his feet.
Grizzly moves in looking to clinch but Milissis pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grizzly drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Grizzly is trying to trip Milissis. He has hold of a leg but Milissis is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Grizzly persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Grizzly trying to control but Milissis is working from the bottom.

Grizzly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Grizzly is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Grizzly drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grizzly jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Milissis wants to stand and escape but Grizzly is having none of it.
Grizzly looking to pass the guard.
Grizzly won't allow Milissis to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Milissis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Milissis has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Grizzly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Both fighters circling a little - Milissis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Grizzly rushes Milissis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Milissis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elvis Milissis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Milissis thumps Grizzly with a low kick.
Grizzly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Milissis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grizzly.
Milissis throws a counter combo.

Milissis tries to keep at a distance but Grizzly has taken the fight into the clinch.
Grizzly tries for a takedown. No joy.
Grizzly is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Milissis is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giant Grizzly. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grizzly has hold of one of Milissis's legs. Milissis is fighting the takedown attempt but Grizzly gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Milissis wants to stand up but Grizzly is controlling him.
Grizzly throwing strikes but missing.

Grizzly drops back, looking for a kneebar! Milissis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Milissis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Milissis!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Milissis stands up and beckons Grizzly to his feet.
Milissis misses with a two punch combination.
Grizzly tries to clinch there but Milissis circles away.
Grizzly showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Milissis.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Elvis Milissis will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Grizzly is rocked!
Milissis connects with a nice cross there... Grizzly is looking wobbly and Milissis recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Grizzly to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Milissis jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
