Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcelo Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Norris!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norris decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Norris is controlling the pace.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Norris has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva tries to hold on but Norris pushes him away.
Norris sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Andy Norris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Norris gets to his feet - Silva follows without any prompting.

Norris rushes Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silva jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Norris walks away with a smile on his face. Silva gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Norris closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Norris pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Norris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Norris is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Norris circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick from Silva lands but Norris takes it in his stride.

Norris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Norris takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Andy Norris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
