Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Escalante (ranked 342 p4p, 1518 weight class) and Murilo Ninja (ranked 54 p4p, 201 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Murilo Ninja!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninja gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Escalante.
Ninja throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Escalante slaps away a takedown attempt from Ninja, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ninja connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ninja misses with a few strikes there.
Escalante jabs Ninja to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ninja shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Escalante defends it nicely.
Escalante chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Escalante tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ninja is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
A jab lands there for Escalante.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Escalante and Ninja are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Escalante throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ninja into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Escalante knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vicente Escalante!
Vicente Escalante really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Brooklyn Threads logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
