Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Avatna Haviid (ranked 4839 p4p, 5644 weight class) and Kamaru Snoozemen (ranked 444 p4p, 471 weight class). Kamaru Snoozemen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Avatna Haviid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kamaru Snoozemen!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snoozemen throws a combination that misses
and Haviid counters with a thumping low kick.
Haviid definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Haviid connects with an inside leg kick.
No joy there for Haviid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A jab from Haviid does it's job there.
Snoozemen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Haviid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Snoozemen thinking.

Snoozemen closes the distance and clinches.
Haviid pushes Snoozemen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Haviid working hard to break the clinch.
Snoozemen tries to circle away but Haviid has him pinned against the cage.
Haviid tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Snoozemen's elbow.
Haviid throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The referee is keeping an eye on Snoozemen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Snoozemen tightens his grip and picks Haviid up, before dumping him to the ground. Haviid manages to land in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snoozemen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Haviid wants to control the position but Snoozemen says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Snoozemen prevents Haviid from improving his position.
Snoozemen lands strikes from half guard.
Snoozemen content to control rather than advance.
Haviid trying to control from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Snoozemen keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Snoozemen is thwarting Haviid's attempts to control the position.
Snoozemen controlling the action here.
Haviid is trying to control but can't.
Snoozemen looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Haviid is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snoozemen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Haviid throws a nice inside leg kick.
Snoozemen tries for a takedown but Haviid circles away easily
and Haviid counters with a stiff right hand.
Haviid cracks Snoozemen with a hook to the temple - Snoozemen is on wobbly legs here! Haviid swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Snoozemen falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Haviid wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Avatna Haviid!
