Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joey Williams (ranked 1966 p4p, 2324 weight class) and Einjar Cloudwhammer (ranked 253 p4p, 288 weight class). Joey Williams has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joey Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Einjar Cloudwhammer! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cloudwhammer misses with a double jab
and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard. Cloudwhammer is looking to stand back up but Williams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cloudwhammer. Cloudwhammer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams. Williams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cloudwhammer's head. Williams thows a huge punch but Cloudwhammer dodges it nicely.
Williams perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams passes the guard and advances to mount! Cloudwhammer is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams cracks Cloudwhammer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Cloudwhammer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Williams throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cloudwhammer because Williams loaded up on that one. Williams landing shots from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cloudwhammer looks winded! Williams connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Cloudwhammer defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Williams. Williams controlling from mount. BOOM! Williams connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams controlling from mount. Williams raining down shots from the mount!
Cloudwhammer is rocked! Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Williams controlling from mount. Williams landing strikes from the mount. Cloudwhammer is still in real trouble! Can Williams finish him? Williams cracks Cloudwhammer with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
