This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 7 losses; Rumsfeld Shart!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Hlervu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shart circles away.
Hlervu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hlervu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shart sprawls well. Shart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hlervu gets slowly back to his feet.
Shart wants to counter with a clinch but Hlervu pushes him away.

Shart is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hlervu is defending well though. Shart let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Hlervu right now.

Hlervu is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shart gets his way!
Shart looking to break Hlervu's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hlervu remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Shart will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Hlervu has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Shart has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hlervu is working for a rear naked choke. Shart is not defending it well and Hlervu has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Shart refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Shart's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
