The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planck throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Babel's head.
Planck darts in and clinches Babel up against the ropes.
Planck has picked Babel up - he's going for a ride! Planck dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Babel looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Babel trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Planck avoids the attempt from Babel to control.
Babel is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Planck can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Babel is looking to escape.
Babel is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Babel holds on for dear life.
Babel is trying to escape the mount.
Babel tries to hold on but Planck postures up.
Planck tries to push Babel's head away but Babel is holding on tight.
Babel wants to hold on but Planck pushes him away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Babel bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Babel drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Babel as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Planck screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Babel! Nice submission victory there!

Nino Babel was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
