Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darragh Prendergast (ranked 4484 p4p, 4483 weight class) and Douglas Muir (ranked 150 p4p, 151 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darragh Prendergast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Douglas Muir!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Prendergast gets tackled into the cage by Muir. Muir maintains the clinch.
Prendergast stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Prendergast manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Prendergast takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The referee is keeping an eye on Prendergast - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Prendergast letting Muir take a breather here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Darragh Prendergast.
Muir clinches up with Prendergast and pushes him back against the cage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Douglas Muir comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Muir has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
