PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lemmy Lawless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Trigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trigg is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mama Said Knock You Out. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trigg.
Trigg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trigg takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lawless is looking to control Trigg's arms but Trigg gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lawless has his back to the cage.

Lawless is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trigg is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lawless to the mat. Lawless regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
