Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Whittle (ranked 5847 p4p, 3200 weight class) and Roman Liondoom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamal Whittle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Liondoom! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whittle shoots in looking for a takedown. Liondoom tries to sprawl out of it but Whittle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liondoom manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Liondoom circles away from the clinch attempt.
Liondoom appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Whittle tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Liondoom defends well and Whittle ends up having to push Liondoom into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Whittle is pushing Liondoom up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Whittle working hard to break the clinch. Whittle gets underhooks to prevent Liondoom's takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whittle prevents a body shot from Liondoom. Whittle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Whittle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamal Whittle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whittle throws a head kick that misses. Liondoom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Whittle. Whittle lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Liondoom swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Liondoom closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Whittle's guard. Whittle wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Liondoom manages to pass to side control. Whittle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Liondoom. Whittle won't allow Liondoom to pass to mount. Liondoom missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Liondoom looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liondoom has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Whittle defend it? Liondoom steps over the head and cranks it - Whittle is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Liondoom!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roman Liondoom! After the fight, Roman Liondoom was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
