Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smacky McSmackFace (ranked 3968 p4p, 3915 weight class) and Daniel Galarza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSmackFace fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Galarza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McSmackFace but McSmackFace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Galarza dives in for a single leg takedown but McSmackFace sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
McSmackFace scores with a one two! Galarza had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Daniel Galarza has been cut.
Galarza slaps away a takedown attempt from McSmackFace, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now McSmackFace is on top in guard.
McSmackFace got a little sloppy there for a moment and Galarza has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McSmackFace has managed to get both his arms back between Galarza's legs - danger averted.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

McSmackFace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Galarza avoids it really well and circles away.

Galarza has McSmackFace pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Galarza pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending McSmackFace tumbling to the mat - Galarza dives into McSmackFace's guard.

Galarza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Galarza throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McSmackFace tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Galarza is in McSmackFace's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
McSmackFace is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Galarza jumps into side control!
