Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chimzat Khamaev (ranked 2142 p4p, 2222 weight class) and Pinky Eye (ranked 278 p4p, 285 weight class). Eye is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Antti Tuisku - Grind mayhem. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chimzat Khamaev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pinky Eye!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamaev takes a swing at Eye's ribcage but misses.
And Eye tries to counter it with a takedown but Khamaev pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Eye fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Khamaev avoids it really well and circles away.
Khamaev looks to land a right hand but Eye moved out of range.
Eye closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eye lands in his opponent's guard.
Khamaev is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eye is controlling him.
Eye trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Khamaev wants to stand but Eye is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khamaev kicks Eye off and gets to his feet.
Eye gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khamaev misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Eye moves into the clinch.
Khamaev breaks the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Khamaev. Eye does a little dance to reset his feet.
Eye slips a straight right by Khamaev.
Khamaev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Eye let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Khamaev misses the shot to the body.
Eye moves out of range as Khamaev strikes.
Eye ducks right into an uppercut from Khamaev.
Khamaev misses the body punch
and Eye counters by clinching up.
Khamaev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eye changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khamaev tries to avoid it but Eye manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khamaev to the ground. Khamaev escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Khamaev punishes Eye's body with a nice straight punch.
Khamaev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Khamaev jabs Eye to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Khamaev throws a looping overhand right but Eye ducks down to avoid it.
Eye connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eye shoots in but no luck this time.
Chimzat Khamaev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pinky Eye.
Khamaev lands with a straight right. Eye didn't see that one coming.
Khamaev throws a big shot that misses.
Khamaev throws out a loose jab but Eye uses good head movement to avoid it.
Eye feints the counter takedown.
Eye doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Eye fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Khamaev avoids it really well and circles away.
Khamaev lands a nice hook to Eye's body. Eye takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Khamaev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eye was well out of range. Poor timing from Khamaev.
Khamaev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eye manages to avoid it.
Eye throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khamaev's waist but Khamaev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eye off to one side.
A quick step to the side and Khamaev tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Khamaev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eye doesn't seem phased though.
Eye takes one to the chin there.
Khamaev lands a jab to the head.
Khamaev digs a good hook to Eye's body.
Khamaev looks to score with a jab to the body but Eye is just out of range.
Khamaev just misses with a punch to the body.
Eye changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Khamaev throws a body shot but no joy.
Khamaev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Eye will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chimzat Khamaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eye is still on wobbly legs! Can Khamaev finish him?
Eye gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Khamaev gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Eye is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chimzat Khamaev!
