The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Louis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sadewa to score with a decent uppercut. Louis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sadewa sprawls well initially but Louis persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sadewa tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Louis manages to move to mount!
Sadewa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sadewa tries to get out of the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sadewa throwing hammer fists to the chest of Louis. What's that going to do exactly? Louis is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sadewa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sadewa! Sadewa wants to stand but Louis is controlling his posture from full guard. Sadewa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Louis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sadewa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sadewa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Louis is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Louis has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sadewa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Louis has tightened it up now! Sadewa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Steve Louis!
