Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Artur Potapenko (ranked 5688 p4p, 5217 weight class) and Norman Stone (ranked 550 p4p, 527 weight class). Norman Stone struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Artur Potapenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norman Stone! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potapenko scores with the left hand. Stone knows he should have avoided that one. No joy there for Potapenko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Potapenko lands a head shot. Artur Potapenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Stone scoring with punches from side control. Potapenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground. Stone is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Potapenko is trying to escape and Stone transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Potapenko is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stone! Very nice indeed!
