Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giga Chad (ranked 4656 p4p, 4177 weight class) and Billy Sterling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Giga Chad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Sterling!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sterling tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chad paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Chad was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Chad throws a head kick but Sterling moves out of range.
Sterling tries to counter with a clinch but Chad shakes him off and moves away.
Chad will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chad tries to clinch up.
Sterling closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Chad wants to stand back up but Sterling manages to pass into side control.
Sterling just content to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chad stops Sterling from passing to mount.
Sterling controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chad struggling a bit here.
Sterling stands up and beckons Chad to his feet.
Sterling throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chad was covering up waiting for the punch and Sterling finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sterling wanted to stand there but Chad had control of the position.
Sterling stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chad looking to control but Sterling passes into half guard.
Sterling performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
It looks like Sterling might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chad wants to get back to full guard but Sterling has passed into side control.
Sterling decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sterling throws a lazy head kick
and Chad counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chad fails with a takedown attempt.
Sterling tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chad paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sterling misses with a head kick.
Chad stalks Sterling and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sterling's face. Sterling staggers backwards, shaken.
Chad is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sterling throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sterling is looking to land body kicks.
Sterling wants to clinch but Chad slips to the side
and Chad counters with a left and a right that stings Sterling.
Sterling throws a sloppy head kick and Chad moves out of range easily.
Chad fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giga Chad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chad gets caught flat footed, as Sterling shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Chad is looking to stand back up but Sterling counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chad.
Sterling works his way into side control.
Sterling slows the pace down.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Sterling dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Sterling pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sterling gets a double leg takedown into Chad's guard.
Sterling is standing up over Chad. Chad looks to escape but Sterling dives into side control.
Sterling in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Sterling stands up.

Sterling shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chad's guard.

Sterling sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Sterling makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sterling is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sterling's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Sterling throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sterling slips nicely into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sterling controlling the action here.
Chad knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sterling on the ground.
Sterling is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Chad!
Chad taking shots to the head.
Sterling is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chad is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chad flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Sterling anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chad and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Sterling slips an arm under Chad chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sterling has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sterling is squeezing on Chad like an anaconda would it's prey. Chad fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Billy Sterling!
