The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battuga tries to clinch up but Price circles away and keeps his distance.
Price misses with a series of wild punches.
Battuga misses with a body shot.
We've been told by Battuga's head coaches at GWad's Playpen that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Battuga lands with an overhand left.
Battuga slips a jab from Price.
Battuga slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Battuga scores with a jab to the body.

Price gets a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Battuga.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Battuga.

Price breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Price shoots for a takedown but Battuga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Battuga moves into the clinch.
Battuga lands a left hand that snaps the head of Price backwards.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Battuga.
Price is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Price can't get the takedown.
Price tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Battuga just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ardahan Battuga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lonnie Price.

and Battuga counters with a crisp right hand that drops Price! Battuga lets Price back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Battuga drops Price with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Price looks back up at him and smiles so Battuga waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Battuga is looking to clinch but Price is avoiding it.
Price tries to counter with a clinch but Battuga shakes him off and moves away.
Battuga cracks Price with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Price falls to his knees and Battuga doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
