The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaird scores with a head kick.
Montebianco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blaird circles away.

Montebianco has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Blaird is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Blaird breaks from the clinch.
Montebianco shoots in for a double leg but Blaird sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blaird wants to counter the offense by Montebianco and move into the clinch position.
