Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simon Osmound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ephraim Goodweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goodweather is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alkaline Trio - Private Eye. Ephraim Goodweather is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ephraim Goodweather!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodweather scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Osmound sneaks back into half guard.
Goodweather is looking for a kimura but Osmound is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Goodweather to get the leverage.
Osmound is trying to stand up here but Goodweather is controlling him well.
Goodweather thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Osmound's head.
Goodweather is pressing down on Osmound's thigh, looking to free his foot. Osmound is holding on for now.
Osmound is concentrating on defense, preventing Goodweather from advancing position.
Osmound won't allow Goodweather to pass to mount.
Osmound wants to get back to his feet.
Osmound is not content to let Goodweather control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Goodweather lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Simon Osmound has been cut.

Osmound tries to clinch up but Goodweather circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Osmound looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Goodweather on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Osmound shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Goodweather counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Osmound's guard now.
Goodweather must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Osmound pulls Goodweather in to control the position.
Osmound pushes Goodweather off and gets back to his feet.

Osmound utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Goodweather working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Osmound's head.
Goodweather tries to free his leg and advance position but Osmound is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Osmound wants to sweep but no luck.
Osmound had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Goodweather is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Osmound Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Goodweather's back instead.
Osmound has the hooks in. Goodweather is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Osmound passes his arm under Goodweather's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Goodweather taps!
