Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paavali Kontiainen!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Shifter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kontiainen's guard.
Shifter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kontiainen is keeping the position for now.
Shifter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kontiainen dives on top into guard.
Kontiainen trying to stand up but can't free himself from Shifter's guard.
Shifter looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kontiainen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shifter to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kontiainen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shifter pulls down on the head and he's put Kontiainen to sleep! This one is all over!
