Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herminos Lugnunum (ranked 4374 p4p, 4972 weight class) and God Ops (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Herminos Lugnunum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, God Ops! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lugnunum gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ops counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lugnunum thinking. Lugnunum has a takedown stuffed. Ops darts in looking for a takedown but Lugnunum gets double underhooks and turns Ops into the cage. Lugnunum feinted with a counter takedown. Lugnunum dives in for a single leg takedown but Ops sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Herminos Lugnunum. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lugnunum tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ops effectively controlling the action here. A short left from Ops. Lugnunum is working for takedown but Ops is calmly controlling the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ops gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lugnunum.
Ops breaks from the clinch.
Ops will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lugnunum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ops was covering up waiting for the punch and Lugnunum finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lugnunum won't allow Ops to sweep him here. Ops manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lugnunum manages to get himself to full guard.
Ops trying to control the position from guard on top but Lugnunum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ops stopping the sweep attempt from Lugnunum. Ops won't allow Lugnunum to get back to his feet. Lugnunum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lugnunum pulls Ops in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lugnunum is on top in guard.
Ops has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lugnunum can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lugnunum wants to control from the top but Ops keeps moving. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ops can do anything to dispel that myth. Lugnunum stands up over Ops, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lugnunum lands a couple of elbows. Lugnunum lands a couple of digs. Ops looks winded! Lugnunum working some strikes from top position.
Ops is rocked!
It looks like God Ops has been cut. Lugnunum controls from within his opponent's guard. Lugnunum postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ops is still in real trouble! Can Lugnunum finish him? Lugnunum postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ops covers up, he's hurt! Lugnunum keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Lugnunum and the ref steps in to end the fight! Lugnunum can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herminos Lugnunum! In defeat, God Ops stepped up to the mic, saying 'I might have loss but I have hope for the next one'.
