The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner throws the kick towards the body but Noguera avoids it.
Noguera lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Gardner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Noguera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Noguera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gardner pushes Noguera off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Noguera tries to clinch but Gardner is having none of it.
Gardner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Noguera's guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gardner's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gardner duly obliges.
It looks like Marco Noguera has been cut.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gardner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Noguera - the referee stops the clock and Gardner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Noguera. Gardner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gardner moves into range and clinches up with Noguera.
Gardner wants the takedown. Noguera is fighting it off but Gardner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Noguera's guard against the cage.

Noguera looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gardner has picked Noguera up and slammed him! Noguera can't keep hold of the triangle and Gardner manages to pass to side control!

Gardner lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Gardner postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Noguera badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Gardner around the waist but Gardner pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Gardner is the winner by TKO! Gardner jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rulon Gardner!
Rulon Gardner bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
