Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geno Lawson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Lawson or perhaps it was just good defense by Gold, which made it look bad.
Gold appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Gold slaps away a takedown attempt from Lawson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lawson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gold avoids it really well and circles away.
Gold attempts a counter takedown but Lawson avoids it well and moves away.
Shawn Gold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geno Lawson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Lawson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gold to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lawson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gold pulls down on the head and he's put Lawson to sleep! This one is all over!
