Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Robertson (ranked 2589 p4p, 5069 weight class) and Cactus Jack (ranked 271 p4p, 472 weight class). Cactus Jack has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bradley Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cactus Jack!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack has a takedown stuffed.
Jack closes the distance and clinches up with Robertson, looking for a takedown. Jack pushes Robertson against the cage but Robertson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Robertson attempts a counter takedown but Jack avoids it well and moves away.

Bradley Robertson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cactus Jack.

Robertson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Robertson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jack stands up over Robertson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jack is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Robertson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Robertson has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Bradley Robertson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jack drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Robertson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jack has Robertson in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Robertson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
